The DOL knowledge exam tests your understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices, required for obtaining a learner's permit or driver's license.
$40 for first attempt | $35 for all additional attempts | $25 for Driving 101 Students

The knowledge test is used to ensure you understand road signs, traffic laws, and safe-driving practices before you drive on the roadways. The knowledge test is your first step in getting your driver license.
Everything you must learn to pass the test is in the Driver’s guide. It is a multiple-choice test with 40 questions, and you must correctly answer 32 of them to pass the test. A passing test score is good for two years.
